UNLV

This is a location for collaboration for research, education and guest presentations from leading fitness industry professionals and internationally recognized science-based exercise, physiology and kinesiology experts. As an extension of UNLV, club members have access to state-of-the-art equipment, as well as health and fitness assessments.  The partnership between Lake Las Vegas Sports Club and UNLV was established in 2017.

Through this partnership, Lake Las Vegas provided laboratory space at the Sports Club to establish a satellite laboratory for Sports Science.

The UNLV Sports Science group is committed to helping people optimize health and maximize their performance goals by advancing the following strategies:

• Conduct and disseminate empirically based research.
  
• Provide quality outreach educational and fitness assessment programs to community members.
  
• Provide educational and research opportunities for UNLV students to help advance students towards their career choice while working with community members.
